The question of R502 smart card reader

Post by jbsoft » Sat Aug 18, 2018 6:12 am

In the R502 User Manual:
The R502 also provides SIM card slots for many kinds of smart card applications. Moreover R502 comes with the SAM slot suitable for GSM 11.11 cards.
Can I use the SIM card reader directly after purchase from the store?

It's need to customize?

hello,

You can put the SIM card into the slot of the R502 card reader, and plug the R502 reader into the USB port of the computer, then connect the SIM card with the APDU tool.

In addition, the R502 reader does not support hot-plug, so each time you put a SIM card, you need to re-plug the card reader.
