I am interested in Mifare DESfire EV1 cards. Does Mifare DESfire card authentication follow the standard CBC DES\3DES
encipher\decipher operations? And also do you have any idea of CBC DES "send mode" and "receive mode" as stated in the card spec?

If you use these algorithms an authentication will be possible.
Be careful with the resulting session key. If you authenticate with a single DES, the session key will also be a single DES.
