Can I use 24 byte long DES3 keys instead of 16 byte log keys In an SCP02 ISD?

As the subject mentioned, anyone knows?
In the GP specification, all description of key is always double length. So i think the 24 bytes long keys can't be used.
You want to use it for more security? You can use SCP03 instead, it uses AES keys, it should be more safer.
