GP Card Manager Failed - PyAPDU Tool

Post by filip1101 » Sat Aug 25, 2018 12:23 am

I try to download cap file, install an applet and select it on PyAPDU Tool.
But i get these errors:
When i try to download cap i get this error:
Download Cap error: Select GP Card Manager failed. Send: 00 A4 04 00 00, Recv: 00 00.
When I try to install an applet I get this error:
Install Applet error: GP init update failed. recv: 00 00
And when i try to select an apllet i get this error as well
Select Applet error: global name 'util' is not defined
So can you tell me how to fix these errors
I am a beginner in Java so I dont really understand what GP is but i need this to be fixed fast
Is something wrong wrong with the reader or with the card or is it something else
I use ISO-14443A MIFARE Classic card 1k tag
And ACS ACR 122u reader

You must install and select the applet after the CAP file has been successfully downloaded.

perhapse, the card don't install the card manager. so you select the card manager failed and the other command(eg: init update ) will be failure, too.
You should study some specification. eg: GP special and the SCP(secure channel protocol) in the GP special.
