I would like to know how to get default key set version number. Is there any method?

Send command INITIALIZE UPDATE, the response contains the key infromation includes the key version number.

Just supplement what UNKNwYSHSA said, in the INITIALIZE UPDATE command, reference control parameter P1 is Key Version Number.
If this value is set to zero, the first available key chosen by the Security Domain will be used. It means that the default key version number will be returned.
