I need to generates a pair of 2048 bytes keys with the RSA alg in my applet. The APDU response is expected to be the 256 bytes of the public modulus and SW1-SW2 9000. But It returned 0x6F00. I also have the same problem the first time I got the reader.
Finally I prised the cover from the gap with card corner lightly. It succeed.

But it's easier to take off the card. Just push the button and the cover and the card will come out at the same time.
