Re: GIDS APP - Windows 10 smart card login
You can manually add any kind of RSA certificate to an Active Directory. Operation which is called "explicit mapping" (at the oposition of "UPN mapping") You have to alter the policy of the computer having access the smart card to show the certificate. Then associate the certificate to the user acco...

Re: Problem with GIDS-Applet
certutil -scinfo can show if the card is recognized or not.
Please note that if a PIV applet was installed before on a card having the same APDU, Windows will try to load the PIV applet (even if not existant). The cache entry is located in the Calais registry hive.

Re: new A40CR & digital signature
Hi,
With this fix it works.
That's the strangest fix I've ever see
(I understood it as a workaround)
regards,
Vincent

new A40CR & digital signature
Hi, I'm trying to adapt the GIDS applet to the new A40CR (and A22) card. 2 issues were known. 1) the bug in the old firmware of the A40CR relating to digital signature computation 2) the GIDS applet consumes too much memory and prohibit the load on the AXX card. Well, I got new cards (a batch of 50 ...

Re: How to debug "6985" when loading applet into card
Indeed, reducing the memory from 1220 to 800 fix the problem (1220 is needed to import 2048 bits key - the applet code needs to be rewritten to handle this case). Both A22 & A40 card I have throw an invalid signature despite the card is computing and returning the signature. Should I investigate...

How to debug "6985" when loading applet into card
Hi, I've wrote the GIDS Applet (m) and I've tested it with success with several G&D and NXP cards, all, including yours, sourced from smartcardfocus. Source is here: m When loaded into Javacos A22, I got the RSA PKCS signature bug the author of the IsoApplet talk about. (m) Except for that, ever...
